This week our theme is "Sharing Traditions" and passing them on.  It is our last week for assigned curriculum.  The following week we will be packing up the classroom, and having students come in to pick up any remaining items, memory book additions, and a special summer gift from their teacher.  My assigned time is Wednesday, June 9th from 11:15 to 12:15.  The plan is that students will come in just a few at a time to pick up these items.  I will be on campus all morning so this time is flexible, and I will send out more information next week.

 

This Friday, students will have the opportunity to share an animal poster showing and adult animal and their offspring.  It is an optional project, and I will give more information about it on Monday.  The Weekly Schedule and files are listed below.

 

I forgot to include the Animal Report Worksheets and information!  I am so sorry.  The file below includes picture pages of animals and their offspring.  You do not have to print them all out, but your child might enjoy looking at the pictures.  Your child can use one of the animals shown, or research their own, to create their animal poster.  There is a worksheet included to write about the similarities and differences.  I also included the teacher page for your information.  Sorry this was late.
