School resumes on April 8th....Multicultural Fair on Friday, April 12th!

Helpful resources for first graders.

ixl math practice is a great way to practice math fluency.https://www.ixl.com/math/grade-1

razkids is a way to build fluency and comprehension at your child's individual reading level. https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login
getepic.com is a wonderful reading site for your children.  It is like RazKids, except with actual, quality reading books that your child may have seen in class or in the library.  It is free, and you can set up your own account.  We all tried it in the Computer Lab today, and they loved it.
Maisey's Mom, Mrs. Svorinich, found some awesome websites for you to explore.  They are online fieldtrips and they are amazing!
*San Diego Zoo
*Yellowstone National Park Virtual Field Trip
*Mars
*Animal Cameras
*U.S. Space and Rocket Museum in Huntsville, AL
*Discovery Education Virtual Field Trips
*The Louvre

Also, you can now go on to the Scholastic News Website, to to Grade 1, and use our new code: stovehint3422.
This way you can see all the Scholastic News magazines and videos for the whole year!

For Mystery Science lessons, please do "How Could You Send a Secret Message to Someone Far Away", and "How Could the Stars Help You If You Are Lost".
