Science: Read Stemscopedia on Gravity. At the bottom answer the questions #1-4 under the “Try Now” section. Type these in a word document and share with me.
 
Tuesday 5/12:
 
Language Arts: Read “Global Warming,” pg. 384-391. It would be helpful to take notes since this is an informational passage and can be harder to comprehend. You can use your notes on the AR quiz on Thursday.
 
Writing: Continue to edit. Find a friend to share your essay with if possible. Listen to your essay through immersive reader at least THREE times. Remember to stop if you hear a mistake before continuing so that you do not forget where your mistakes are.
 
Math: Go through part 2 of Lesson 14.6 pgs. 301-303 and do Guided Practice #16-19, 30 min of iReady math lessons
 
Social Studies: Watch Liberty Kid’s Episode 17, “Captain Molly.” Then copy and paste link below to complete the form.

“They think that there is a sea monster but it turns out to be a submarine called the Turtle. James and Henri help to tow it but Sarah will not help and is upset. Writing: Start your research! Spend today and Friday finding at least three online articles that will teach you more about your topic and you can reference in your essay. Remember to “sift and skim” through and make sure they are relevant to your topic (similar to what we did when we wrote our opinion paper on water).
