Welcome to 2nd Grade!

As we round out our last week before Thanksgiving Break, the kids are working hard and doing some great learning.  We are looking at many things that we are thankful for, along with thinking about our ancestors and how their lives were different than ours.  Check out the homework for this week, as there is an assignment for the kids to complete an interview of one of their relatives.  Please have your child interview anyone in a generation older than their parents.  We have also had some rainy days, and it looks like this week will continue with the weather.  Fingers crossed for our Turkey Trot on Friday!!

Week of Dec. 1-5:  Parent Teacher Conferences:  Min. Day Dismissal @ 12pm on 12/2-12/4

Thursday, Dec. 18: Holiday Music Performance @ 9:40am

The 2nd Grade Music Performance is scheduled for Thursday, 12/18 at 9:40 a.m.

Performance Attire:

• Boys: Black pants and white shirts

• Girls: Red, green, or blue outfits
