Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Hello Court 10,

This was another successful week, and a nice welcome into the new year.  From the sounds of all the stories, everyone had an amazing 2 weeks off!  

 

This week we focused on ways to improve ourselves in the classroom, at school, and at home.  We are hopeful that we can turn our focuses into good habits that will continue throughout the year. We are continuing with measurement in Math.  We need lots of practice with this, and the kids are always super excited to use the different tools to measure with.  Our focus in reading was on the Winter Olympics.  We read about a snowboarder named Chloe Kim who won the Gold medals in 2018, 2022, and she is looking to win this year again! I'm sure the kids will be looking for her when the games start.  Good Luck, Chloe!
