Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Hello Court 10,

As we head into another week, our focus will be our Ancestor Project.  We will be completing our last activities, along with preparing our Ancestor Books in class.  This coming week, part of our homework will be making an Ancestor Doll that represents a country of your family's heritage.  The kids will need some guidance and help with gathering materials and making the actual doll.  I will send home the template and directions on Monday, so please keep an eye out for this coming home.  We only have 7 more weeks of school, but they will be packed with lots of activities.  Here is a look ahead:  

 

April 27-May 1: Hot Topic: Special things about Moms

May 1: Arts Alive: All Day

May 13: 2nd Grade Field Trip: Kellogg House

May 14: Music Performance @ 9:40am

May 18-22: Last Hot Topic: Special things about Dads

May 25: Memorial Day Holiday: No School
