This Battle of the Books reading list has been made available by the "BOB" organization. A few titles are likely to change by the fall--each year a few adjustments are made, typically affecting just a couple of titles. That said, most will be part of next year's Battle--so if you'd like to participate in Battle of the Books and want to get a head start on reading--ready, set, read!

Battle of the Books is a national reading incentive program for kids, that builds excitement about books and encourages discussion & sharing along with camaraderie, and teamwork. Each year, third, fourth, and fifth grade students from across PVPUSD read from a list of pre-selected books. In the spring, they all come together to compete in fun, team-based, quiz-show style games that test their knowledge and recall of the books they’ve read, It is a great time for everyone. And while all that reading is the real reward, there are prizes for top scoring teams. In fall, you’lll find more info here on how to sign up.
